In November 1934, To Provide The Almaty Region With Agricultural Specialists: The Republican School Of Mechanics Was Established In Talgar By Tractor Drivers, Combine Harvesters, And Mechanics. From 1934 To 1941, Under Peacetime Conditions, The MTS School (Machine And Tractor Station) Trained And Retrained 2,724 Mechanized Personnel Of Various Qualifications. During The Great Patriotic War, From July 1941 To October 1946, Despite A Sharp Reduction In The Educational And Production Base, The School Trained 1,019 Specialists.
